Michelle Okere, Principal

Michelle Okere is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in fundraising, public relations, and advocacy. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and Inclusion Specialist, she has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of numerous provincial, regional, and national organizations.

Since 2016, Michelle has been working with organizations across North America in achieving transformational growth. Her expertise extends to areas such as human resources, strategic and operations planning, and board governance.

In addition to her consulting work, Michelle is actively involved in various community initiatives. She is a co-founder of the REET Institute, Chair of the Truth & Reconciliation Committee for the YWCA Edmonton, Chair at PolicyWise for Children & Families, and a member of the University of Alberta Senate.

Michelle's contributions to the community have not gone unnoticed. She has been featured on the cover of PINK Magazine, recognized with the Deputy Minister's Award for Innovation, and named to Edify Edmonton's Top 40 Under 40 list. Furthermore, she has been honoured with the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal, highlighting her exceptional dedication and service.

Michelle is currently completing the Indigenous Business Leadership eMBA Program through Simon Fraser University.
